Our crew is fully trained, properly insured, and equipped with professional-grade tree equipment for jobs of all sizes — from trimming a single ornamental tree to removing a massive storm-damaged oak.
Tree Removal
When a tree is dead, diseased beyond recovery, structurally compromised, or dangerously located, removal is the safest choice. Royal Magnolia Landscaping performs tree removals safely and efficiently, protecting your property, landscaping, and structures throughout the process.
We assess each removal carefully, planning the safest approach for the tree's specific location, lean, and surrounding conditions. Whether it's a straightforward felling or a technically complex piece-by-piece removal, our crew has the skills and equipment to handle it safely.
Frequently Asked Questions | Tree Trimming & Removal
When Tree Removal Is Necessary
The tree is dead or largely dying with no viable treatment
Significant storm damage or structural failure
Root or trunk disease threatening the tree's stability
Location too close to structures, power lines, or other hazards
Clearing for new construction or landscaping projects

Is tree removal covered by homeowner's insurance?
It depends on the circumstances. If a tree falls on a structure due to a storm or other covered event, your homeowner's insurance may cover removal costs. Elective removal of a healthy tree is typically not covered. We recommend contacting your insurance provider for guidance on your specific policy.
How deep does stump grinding go?
Our stump grinders typically grind to 6–12 inches below the soil surface — deep enough to eliminate the visible stump and the main lateral roots near the surface. This is sufficient for most purposes including planting grass seed or placing a new tree. For construction or paving over the area, deeper grinding may be recommended
Stump Grinding
After a tree is removed, the stump that remains can be an eyesore, a tripping hazard, a source of continued root growth, and an invitation for wood-boring insects and fungal disease. Stump grinding is the professional solution — our stump grinder reduces the stump to wood chips below ground level, eliminating all visible remnants and allowing you to plant, seed, or pave over the area
